ken was such a super nice guy, when he was either walking or was in a business he was always smiling and just plain happy and never was a negative person . He was a nice person if i could quote him now it would be "If i wasn't any better i would be triplets." I would crack up and I would say your poor mother. Just joking around I bet when he was really sick he probably didnt know it he probably still had a smile on his face. I will always treasure his great way of being happy and his storys . I think he made this town more happy with him being a community supporter and a zeelander hollander. and just a all around nice guy. Jody , mike and extended family I will always treasure knowing him and jane and family. he was a true friend.

I am sorry to hear of your loss! He was such a kind, positive, and personable guy. Loved his, "Hello, here's a mint for you today." gesture when I would walk to my car in the parking lot across from Cityside Middle School. The Zeeland school community were blessed to have known him. With my sympathy and prayers, Sandy VanRavenswaay

I was so sorry to hear this sad news. Ken was such a blessing to my life. I've known him (and had met Jane too a few times) for years thru the Chamber. I will miss his "Super Majestic!" attitude. I always loved when you asked him how he was doing he would often reply "If I were any better - I would be twins!" He would often stop by our office and even if I weren't in when he stopped - I would find his signature peppermint lifesavers sitting on my desk as his calling card. God bless him - he is now with the lord and dancing in the streets with his love, Jane. It must also be said that we will miss his wonderful pig-in-a-blankets! We ordered them many times through-out the years for the holidays and other special events..... RIP Ken Ramaker - your legacy will live on thru your loving and selfless example..... (Note: So sorry I was unable to attend the visitation and funeral. Recent spinal surgery has me still at home recuperating. Bless you all....)

I remember Ken well from Peace Church and more recently saw him at Royal Park where I work when he would deliver flowers to the residents there. He always had a mint to hand me (and everyone else!) and had that contagious beaming smile that brightened everyone's day. I am so sorry for all of the loss your family has experienced in the past few years. Praying for you - Sincerely, Cindy Nyhoff
