Greatest Cardinal ever - I grew up learning baseball by watching Stan play. St. Louis has lost a truely great person and a baseball legend.

Thank you Stan, you played hard and with integrity, something we have lost in our world today.....you and your baseball generation were my father's heroes, and through a mutual love of the game became some of mine....RIP Mr. Musial a class act

Always my favorite player. A lifelong cardinal fan, I remember meeting him and Red outsie of Wrigley field when I was a kid in the late 40's.

In 1946 was my first year to watch baseball. I fast became a Stan Musial fan and followed his every at-bat for the rest of his years of life. In my opinion, Stan Musial was the greatest baseball player that ever lived.

I SAW HIM IN THE 50'S AT THE OLD STADIUM DOWNTOWN. HE HIT ONE OVER THE UPPER DECK.
