Dear JoAnn and children. Although I had little opportunity to spend time with Casey over the years, I always thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. He was always very "present." My sympathies to you and your family.

For Jo Ann, Margot and Carson
We are so sad to know that Casey has left us all, what a kind, gentle man, brave man who always took time to visit, listen, laugh and yes take many photos of everyone within 2inches of him :) he always captured life as it happened, and made everyone smile.
We are so lucky to have pictures he took of Camille, we have one on our wall, where it will stay.
Though, we don't see you as much, now that we are not in Marfa full time, we think and talk about your family all the great memories we have together, we are blessed to have known Casey. Every time I pet our new kitty, I think of how much he loved our cats in Marfa, I wish he could have met Taco.
We hope we can the 3 of you soon.
Love and hugs
Ree, Jason and Camille (Marfa /Dallas)

“There is a land of the living and a land of the dead and the bridge is love, the only survival, the only meaning.” ?Thornton Wilder
Your love came to us by the cornucopiaful: overflowing generosity, photos to remember who we were, to remember that it was all better than it seemed, and, of course, by way of jambalaya . A more beautiful soul there never was. Thank you, Casey. Your love echoes on.
