Mr. Clark -

The world is a better place because you lived. Thank You!

I always enjoyed watching American Bandstand, especially the dance contest. My father, the late R&B singer Johnnie Taylor made an appearance on AB. You sure didn't see color.

I learned how to dance by watching American Bandstand. Dick Clark was an idol to so many, he was such a nice person and will be remembered forever.

Rest in Peace

You had a terrific beat and were easy to dance to, a giant of a man who made every one feel, even the viewers at home, that they were equal. Thank you for bringing American Bandstand into my home every Saturday morning, making rock and roll the only music for me. You were the voice of every teenager.
