I missed visiting with Michael this summer, wondering why he hadn't stopped by. Little did I know...My condolences to you, Rick, and to your many friends and relatives
When death separate family members that loss results in deep sorrow. However, complete reliance on God's word the Bible can help endure.
I introduced Michael and Rick. Mike had been a constant friend since 1967. I met Rick in 1978. They are two of the kindest people I've ever had the honor of knowing. Rick, I can't even know how badly this loss must be. Keep your heart in the good place it's always been.
I am a better person for having known Michael. My family and I will miss him very much. I cannot express how sad this makes me. Rick: You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Rick, your and Michael's visits to Giddings and Ledbetter have been missed.

Michael, you will be missed. I always looked forward to you and Richard visiting when you came to town.
I am stunned and deeply saddened. I treasured my time with Michael, even though it wasn't much. Rick, I am so sorry for your loss.
My condolences to Rick, and to Michael's family. I first met Rick and Michael in my gallery on Salt Spring Island, and will always remember the joy and love they shared... we corresponded for years, and my last message from Michael was wishing me a Happy Canada Day, earlier this month. He was a wonderful person, and I will always remember his warm smile and generous nature. Memory Eternal.
My deepest sympathy to Pat, Mary, W.L., and Kevin. I just read Mike's obituary in the Houston Chronicle this morning and had long wondered where my old friend from St. Anthony's was. May you rest in eternal peace, Mike.
R.I.P., Michael !
You're one of the Good Ones !
We'll miss you, your wit, and your wisdom.
