Dear Allison, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, when I heard of Mikes passing I was very saddened when Kurth told me. I lit a candel in his honor. God Bless you and your family.
I miss my grampa so so much.
I worked with Mike for a number of years at KBR in the procurement dept. He was quite the character. He was very proud of his family and talked about them often. One thing I didn't realize till about four years ago was that we both attended Jeff Davis High School! Small world! Rest in peace Mike!
I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I worked at Kellogg for 23 years and considered Mike 'one of the family' there - he was always such a sweetheart. I left Kellogg several years ago but will never forget his smiling face. RIP Beener.....

I was so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I met Mike in elementary school and we both went to Marshall and Jeff Davis together. We shared many happy times at Moody Park on Friday nights. He was part of "The Click" we were in. I saw him at our 20th High School reunuion and he was still the same Mike! Lisa, I am praying for you and your family. May God hold you close during this sad time.

Any friend's passing reminds me of how quickly life moves on. I remember Mike from Marshall and Davis; even though he was popular and a football player, he had time to make me feel like I was his friend instead of just the kid who delivered the Houston Press to his porch. My sympathies to all who knew, loved and were blessed by Mike's easy smile.
Lisa, Miles and Clint,
So Sorry to hear about Mike.
He was a great coach on the Huskies in little league .

"Beener" was a GREAT GUY . . . he knew how to wear that FFA jacket . . . we enjoyed playing football together (the Panthers)!

Lisa, my sincere condolences to you and your family for your loss.
Uncle Mike you WILL always be with me and I WILL always cherish the wonderful conversations we had from football, to hunting, to the depths of military life. The conversations were consistently memorable.
You were also regularly the first person to say, "Thank you for your service and we are so proud of you." Let me return the gesture, "Uncle Mike thank you for your service to this country in a time when very few did!"

Thank you for your life Uncle Mike - Love, Travis

Lisa, Miles, & Clint,
My heart goes out to you all for the loss of a really good man you can be proud of. What a great sense of humor, kind heart, and strong will! I will miss our phone conversations when he'd call the office for Lisa & she was away, I knew I'd always get a funny joke or line to make me smile! God bless your family, be strong as he taught you to be and carry on as he would wish.
I always enjoyed Uncle Mike and are so appreciative of the time he spent with the guys hunting. I regret they didn't spend more time together. Mike will be greatly missed.
Our family has been friends with the Beene's since 1994. Mike always enjoyed watching his boys play ball and would always have a few pointers for us after the ball games. He loved baseball, hunting , fishing and his family. He always looked out for us and wanted to make sure we were careful and safe when we went out for the evening. He always ended by telling us " be nice, don't fight" lol. It was so funny, yet genuine. I'll miss him and our sports talk. Praying for my friend and his family
We always enjoyed Mike's company and his great sense of humor. We have fond memories of our sons & Miles playing Klein Oak baseball games together & hearing Mike's wonderful hunting stories. We will miss him dearly. Our love and prayers to all the Beene family.

Our world has lost a wonderful man and friend, but heaven has gained another angel. I was proud to know and go to school with Mike and even have a few dances with him at Moody Park in junior high school. I will forever remember his cute smile and beautiful eyes and genuine friendship. RIP Mike. We will miss you but never forget you. Barbara
