We are so sad to hear of Mitt's passing. Always a young boy at heart and free spirit. Mitt, you were a great buddy to my son for 8 years, we were honored and grateful to have known you and called you our neighbor. One of our first nights in our home you rescued me from a geicko that made it up the staircase and you proudly released him unhurt outside! Then one Christmas Eve, you jumped over the brick wall that seperated our backyards to sneak into my kitchen so Ryan would not hear the front door open so you could set up Ryan's first computer, you wanted him to be surprised and made sure it all worked perfectly! There were many nights you would bang on our door urging us to come out now, so we could go across the street to the bridge and watch the Space Station pass overhead! We so enjoyed those moments with you and your Mom. To the many many evenings I over cooked so Ryan could knock on your door with an extra plate was always a treat for him. Thank goodness you liked my cooking! We were sad to lose you when you moved to California but we knew, there is where you belonged. I am grateful you were able to spend your last days in your beautiful California. I miss your friendship, our emails and lengthy discussions about life. I am sorry you lost yours so young. I was comforted just knowing all I had to do was knock on our wall and you would know I needed help with something. I've knocked on that wall today hoping you hear me. We love you Mitt and wish you a beautiful journey. Go sing and dance with the angels. Our sincerest condolences to Mr. Dawson, John and Lennice.
