Janet (Isbell) Buell
1939-2016
Janet passed away and joined her heavenly Father on July 16, surrounded by family. Janet is preceded in death by parents: Evelyn and Alton Isbell. She will be missed dearly by her: husband of 56 years-Don Buell; daughter and her husband-Julie and Eddie Lodi; son, his wife and children-Jeff, Charlotte (Clay), Brent, Ashlee, Sarah & Caleb Buell; brother-Ronnie Isbell; and sister and her husband-Brenda and David Brown. Janet was dedicated to the alumni group of Stephen F. Austin HS Class of 57. She was a graduate of the University of Houston and taught before becoming a full time super mom. Our sweet, petite and servant-hearted Janet gave tirelessly to help all who were blessed to cross her path. She enjoyed playing in the country, interacting with nature's critters, and traveling near and far with her friends and family. Her greatest loves were her Lord, and her family. After a move to Fort Worth two and a half years ago, Janet could often be found in the cheering section at her grandchildren's games and activities. A celebration of Janet's life will be held Saturday, July 23, at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Cypress Bible Church, 11711 Cypress North Houston Rd, Cypress, TX. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, you consider a donation to Christian Aid Mission, Youth Reach Houston or a charity of your choice. With Janet´s beloved husband Don, having passed away, I think so often of them. How glorious that they are in Heaven, having seen Jesus face to face. We will all be there someday to enjoy Him forever.
Thinking of you precious family today.

Just seeing Janet's picture today is a very special reminder of how sweet and very kind she was. In the good times, the bad times, she remained the same. Always pleasant and always faithful. Her strong resolve to do for others was beautiful to observe and she was multi faceted in the many ways she reached out to those in her path. I miss her! She was such a special friend, and she would be so very proud of her family! Thinking of you, dear ones at this time. Love to you All, nan

My Dearest Friend, Janet, lived her life well because she served "Him" well. She was truly not her own. She belonged to the Lord Jesus and wanted His Great Name to be Renown. Her utmost passion was Her Lord and Everything In her life revolved around Him.
Janet was a "prayer warrior". She kept a list of names, needs and verses to pray as she stood in the gap for others.
Even, as her health declined and her suffering was great, she was faithful. It brings peace, knowing that as she is in His presence now; that Her body is strong, and her mind is alert, but oh how her Spirit is Soaring!
"We will join you someday soon, Dear Janet, and All of Us Together will Enjoy our Lord and Savior For All Eternity"!
What a Day That Will Be!
Love and Prayers to each of you, precious Buell family.

My dear cousin Janet was an angel on earth. I will always remember her sweet voice these later years, never complaining and I could hear her smile at all times.
Janet will not be forgotten by her loving family and her many friends. She was always looking for ways to be of help.
I am only an in-law to the Isbells, but I feel very fortunate to have been included in their family circle.
My love to you all
