We send our condolences and our thoughts are with Virginia and the family
June 29, 2014
I am saddened to hear of John's passing and just heard the news today. Virginia has always been a dear friend of mine and although I have been away from Houston for many years, I have always thought of John and Virginia as dear friends. He was an outstanding lawyer and citizen of Houston and will be missed greatly by so many of his friends and family.

Love to this wonderful family. Mr. Abercrombie left such a legacy.

My thoughts are with the family. Playing bridge, it was always a pleasure to meet John. More so last week, dignified, and still cracked some jokes. He played a great game even though he must have not been feeling well and his mind was as clear as a bell. My heart is sore today.
