In late winter of 2011 my husband was receiving radiation treatment at the same time as Father. I would say "Hello" to him as he left each day. One afternoon he came over to me and asked if he knew me. I said that I wasn't Catholic, but that I felt that I knew him because I has seen him on tv so many times when my husband and I had lived in South Bend. He mentioned his love for "his lady". He asked if I was a patient and I responded that my husband was. He said that he would include my husband in his prayers. Father is my example of a Godly person. He offered a prayer for someone who was needing it, even though he was not a member of his branch of Christianity. Thank you again Father, and rest in peace. Elaine Beeching
