Chief, I will always miss your cheeky smile and sense of humor. You gave me the chances not many would have. I will always remember you fondly.

To the Family of Chief Joe Schultea, only time will heal your pain. Chief Schultea is one of the reasons I became an officer and as we all know and admire him he was the finest of the best! With Abiding Respect and Love for All of You, G. Scott McKissack,Sr.

I know it is a year later, but I do not live in Houston anymore, and I heard that Chief Schultea passed on to Heaven last January and I would like to send my prayers to Joe Jr, Cindy & James. Your Dad always treated me good as a teenager and I have appreciated all of these years the care and concern he gave me as a teenager. Your Dad was great!

Joe was our neighbor. Always helpful in many ways. A wonderful family man with a wonderful loving family. Know that I write this with great sorrow for your loss.
