Worked several years with Judge Lee at the Court of Appeals. A great guy who always treated everyone the same ... with dignity and respect. He usually had a funny, understated quip about some observation. It inevitably cracked me up. Still the same when we sat together at court luncheon in December 2012. Always looked forward to seeing him. He is definitely missed.

Norman you are always in my thoughts . The Brother I always wanted, a friend for life and the one person I most admired.
Thanks for being my friend.
Missing you

Mary, Telina, Lisa, and Mingo,

Guess it is coming up on one year now. Wow, time passes so quickly. Though Norman is gone, you will always have those wonderful memories and someone told me after Shelley's death 15 years ago, that you just learn to live with the memories. I am sure you are doing that and what wonderful memories you all have to live with. He was a great man, and to me, a great friend.

Mary,

I just read about Norman's passing in the Bar journal. Please accept my sympathies.

Norman and I started out together at about the same time, me with John Hill and Norman across the hall with Haynes and Fullenweider, in the Houston First Savings building. Norman really was a good guy, always affable, friendly and supportive. He always had a humorous observation to make about almost everything.

I moved to Austin in 1973 and did not see Norman again until about 1980 when we both attended the DG's parents day at UT. I enjoyed catching up with him.

Anyway, to echo an earlier comment, he really was a good guy.
