Daddy it has been a little over two months since we all had to say "good-bye" to you. It's still hard to believe that you're no longer here, but I take comfort in the fact that you were flourishing at Holly Hall Retirement Community acquiring some new friends and making the most of your situation. You were a real trooper and quite a whiz at trivia with the other residents from the reports that I would get from Dan “the Man” – (one of the activities directors there). They really came to love you during your six and one half months stay there and were shocked beyond words to learn of your sudden passing. You had a way of leaving quite an impression upon people.
And Daddy the home that you lived in for over 50 years on Sunbeam Street and the neighborhood is not the same without you. We all miss your presence.
Until I see you again . . .
Your loving daughter, Barbara
