Just thinking of you!

Dr. Matthews will never be forgotten. Serving him as his last dental assistant, I can honestly say he that he was a great teacher. He was more like family to me. I wished I could tell you that Andrew and I finally got married and now have a baby boy! The news brings tears to my eyes. I am forever grateful for having to work with Dr Matthews. My husband and I will never forget you Doc. As I remember playing a game of throwing a soft football down the hall way in your office during lunch break while Shay yells "Dr Matthews your going to hurt your back!" How everyone of your patients were more like family. There's so much I want to say.
We will greatly miss you Doctor Matthews and we love you like part of our family. Thank you so much for all you have taught me.

Vince was my cousin and I will miss him dearly, we have been out of touch for years but his sister Oma contacted me a few years back and we reunited with her in Houston in Oct and had a great visit. Unfortunately Vince was too ill for me to see him but I did visit Oma and her family and will remember them for the rest of my life. R.I.P. cousin Vince.

Since 1949 at Jackson Junor High School, and playing together on Houston'e first Little League All Stars, Vince and I have been life-long friends-- with him being the best man at Gladys and I wedding. All the good times we had as we lived life to the fullest-- and, we enjoyed every minute of it. And until we meet again may God hold him in the hollow of His hand. Buddy Wellborn.
