Bruce E. Sloma, age, 51 of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Survivors include a son Derrick Rohn of Oshkosh, his parents Gerald and Sarah Sloma of Brillion, a brother Robin Sloma and friend Jean Klug of Brillion, 2 sisters, Sandra Sengbusch of Reedsville, Kimberly and friend Rick Lorenz of Chilton, and a niece Sierra Sengbusch of Brillion. He was preceded in death by a brother Mark who died on May 17, 2012, his grandparents, Victor and Ida Sloma and Thomas and Julia Cavanaugh. Bruce will not be forgotten by his family and friends who knew him as "Dr. Bruce". A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion, Thursday, January 10, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4:30p.m. lead by Pastoral Minister Rita Heraly. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bruce's name.

I worked with Bruce at Step Industries. He was a very nice guy who never had a bad word for anyone. And he told the corniest jokes that you just had to laugh at. He was a great person, always helping out and giving people rides to/from work. LOL RIP buddy, you will be missed.

I got to know Bruce from the Oneida Health Center. He always stopped to say
