I have fond childhood memories of Gilbert, Jean, and Beverly as neighbors to our family (the Fukas). My heart goes out to all those who knew and loved Gilbert. Sending my sympathy to his entire family and the community for their loss...
Dear Bev, I have an interesting memory of your Dad from a visit to Manitowoc when both our parents had lost their spouse. Your Dad brought over some raspberries to my Mom, and when he left my Mom said she sure wouldn't mind being married to that man!! God blessed you with a SUPER Dad. I'm so sorry for your loss. --Lovingly, Dorothy (Fuka) Herning
Beverly and Josie, Sorry for your loss. Every time I see a bow-tie or see that angel tree at Christmas in the Atrium I will remember Gil. Knowing Gil he probable is volunteering in Heaven.

Bev and Josie....May God bless you both during this very difficult time. Thoughts and prayers to both of you.
God needed a touch of class in Heaven! I will always remember Gil for his smile that was just a bit wider than his bow-tie. Bev my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Don't know how HE looks in a bowtie, but I am sure God was wearing one when He welcomed Gil into His kingdom..warm, generous, quiet sense of humor...great working with Gil as a HFMH volunteer
Many fond memories of Gil. I am grateful to have known him. Rest well, My Friend.
