My sympathies to the family. I always enjoyed Ken at the Chordsman concerts. Special condolences to Donna Dehne, Ken's Sister in Law, I worked with her for many years
Sorry to the family for your loss. He sang at my Dad Lesters funeral. Glad his suffering is over. We lost so many to Cancer.....
I send my deepest sympathy and say that my thoughts have been with you since I heard of Ken's illness and death.
Ken was instrumental in doing all the masonry work…doing an excellent job on the foundation and all the stone work on the fireplaces on the home we built in Newton. I always enjoyed hearing him sing at many occasions, the last time at Bob Schmitz's funeral this summer. I had a nice conversation with him when he sat next to me at the funeral and also visited with him at our Dehne reunion.
We know death is certain, yet it remains hard to accept. May the sympathy of those who care make the sorrow of your heart less difficult to bear. Your sorrow is shared by my mother, Frieda Grotegut, sister & brother-in-law, Don & Janelle Zimmermann as well as myself and all of his many friends and acquaintances.
All of my family are in Arizona at this time and surely would have liked to attend his funeral. We will however, keep you in our thoughts and prayers and quietly remember him on the day of his funeral.
With sympathy and love,
Apache Junction, AZ
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and loved ones.
We are gonna miss seeing you come into the Lighthouse Inn. What a Great Person you are, always kind and sincere. You always had some neat little story to tell, or a cute little joke to make us laugh, and when it was time for us to cheer you up you still beat us to the punch line. Rest in peace our Happy Gentleman. All your friends at the Lighthouse Inn!
