I was so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. I have so many fun memories growing up next door on 13th street. Summers on the Kahrs"s front porch was a fun place to talk about what we did that day. I remember the large garden and apple trees. I also remember when Lee left for the seminary and was there for his ordination.
Our prayers are with all of you.
We were saddened to learn of Father Lee's death.Paul and I talked with Lee at the Class of 1957 reunion. It was so good to see him and reminice about the seminary and the 13th Street neighborhood. We wish to extend our sympathy to the entire family.
Our family is saddened by the loss of Fr. Kahrs. He was a great pastor for St. Mary of Glenmore and Stark.

Sorry to hear of the death of Fr. Lee. Lee and I were classmates - from way back when. I did have the opportunity to talk with Lee via telephone recently. Fun in reminiscing about some of the 'days gone by' events. Best of regards to your entire family. - Jack Egan
What a shock to hear that Lee has left us. Lee lived a couple of blocks from me and we attended St. Marks grade school in Two Rivers. Upon graduating from St. Marks we and 7 (?) other students from Two Rivers went to Sacred Heart Seminary in Oneida, WI with dreams of becoming priests. After 4 years of high school I, along with the other Two Rivers's 1953 class, went in other directions while Lee continued with his studies and achieved his dream of becoming a priest.
We will miss him and my prayers are with his family.
As an afterthought, my cousin Paul Antonie, who was one of the original seminarians to be in the pioneering class of the new Sacred Heart Seminary in 1953, married Lee's neighbor, Linda Day. It's hard to believe that 60 years have passed since we first stepped into the seminary.

I was honored to sit with Lee at many Saturday AA meetings over the years. His sharing always brought me back to the basics and reminded me to keep it simple--important lessons in sobriety for one like myself who is prone to complicate everything. I will miss the humble simplicity of Lee's presence among us. I hope his family will please accept my sympathy and know that I am keeping you all in my heart.
Sorry to hear of Lee's passing on . . .We knew him well at St. Francis in DePere when Fr. Tom Golden was pastor. . .He was my wife's brother, Sheila J. Golden (Garot). . .Our deepest and sincerest condolences. Sorry, I was unable to make the funeral; I had class at that time in Appleton at FVTC.

Father Kahrs was our family's priest at St. Mary's-Stark. He did our pre-marriage classes and baptized all 3 of our children. I was surprised to hear of his passing. But I know he is in The Lord's Kingdom.
May the peace of Christ be with you all now and always. Fr Kahrs was part of our community at St Marys Glenmore/Stark and blessed my home, children, marriage. He had a special manner and was kind and caring. God Bless him and you all.
