Dear Rosemary, Brad, Rick, and Kevin, I just learned of your husband and father's death. I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew him only as "Rick's dad," but I knew he was great man. Be assured of my prayers for peace and comfort during this time, and for faith and hope that where he has gone we all might follow.
I had Mr Kautzer as my 6th grade teacher and I have to say that he made learning fun. He would tell us stories of how it was like when he was going into the army and they were getting their shots, how they would be in line with just their underwear and socks on, when it was their turn for the shots, they got them from both sides. He would also teach us the difference on doing your homework in a quiet area compared to a distraction area by giving us the same math test, first in a quiet classroom and then the second time he would bang on the upside down trash can and have a radio blasting. He was a great teacher and I learned a lot of things from him. I remember also talking to him one day on the golf course when his group was playing ahead of us. My condolences to his family.
Donna, our sympathies to you and the entire Kautzer family in the lose of
of Bob. May all your wonderful memories
bless your days.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Kautzer. My parents were very close friends of Bob and Rosemary's. My twin sister and I also had the pleasure of having Mr. Kautzer as our principal at Jackson Elementary School. He was an amazing principal and a great man. I will remember my Dad telling me a lot of fond memories of them teaching together at Stangel School also. My Dad looked up to Bob as a mentor. I am sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts.

We were so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Bob and Rosemary were one of our first friends we met when when we moved to Manitowoc, and were fortunate to have them visit us in Florida.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. I will send Rosemary a letter also.
Love and prayers

Brad, you and your family are in our prayers. May the God of all comfort give you peace. God bless you!
Mr. Kautzer was my sixth grade teacher at Jefferson and I have told many wonderful stories about him to my own students. He has inspired so many lives! My condolences to Rosemary and family.
My deepest condolences to the Kautzer family. Mr Kautzer left a positive impression on thousands of his students, and for that we can always be grateful.
Your family is in our prayers. You dad was a wonderful father, teacher and leader. I always felt welcomed when I was over visiting at your home.
My condolences to his family. I remembered him transferring to the sixth grade when I was at Jefferson elementary. I also graduated from Lincoln High in 1956. I remember Bob quite well. Good guy. May God comfort you in your loss.
Brad -- You and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of your colleagues on the leadership team and across the entire S&C organization. You have our deepest sympathies.
Bob was my sixth grade teacher at Jefferson, and an excellent role model. He had a gift of making each student reach for their potential, and that was the reason I became a teacher.
Rosemary and family,
I am so very sorry to learn of your loss. I had Mr. Kautzer for my 6th grade teacher at James Monroe and had also attended the same church as him for many years. Rosemary, I remember how caring you were towards my mother when she was ill. I hope that your faith and the love of God will help to get you through this difficult time. My sincere sympathy. I will hold you close in prayer.
Brad - Karen and I send our deepest sympathies to you and the family on the loss of your father.
Bill and I send our deepest sympathy to Rosemary and the family. During my 18 years on the Manitowoc School Board, it was always a pleasure to work with Bob or just to have the opportunity to be in the presence of his good cheer! May all your fond memories comfort you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May you be blessed with many wonderful memories...

It should also be mentioned how much fun we had on our Cushmann Scooters. :)
This is a shock. Bob and I were great buddies through Junior and Senior High School. We fished together and waded Silver Creek for crayfish. And we got into a little mischief together. We hadn't visited for way too many years but I thought of him often in that time. Please accept my deep condolences.
