To the Martin Family,

My deepest sympathy, our family had season tickets to the Hawk's in the 60's and 70's and I so much loved watching Pit lead a charge down ice.
I'm sure he really would have loved being at the Winter Classic on New Years Day at Wrigley Field or watching on tv.

Dear Pat,
I sincerely send my condolences to you and your daughters. I read about Pit's death on line recently. You may or may not remember me, but Geri Matyasek and I use to babysit for you and Pit when you lived in Villa Park, Illinois. Geri and I actually flew up with Pit in his plane to your Windsor house one summer back in 1973. I know your girls are all grown up and I am sure still as gorgeous as they were as tots. You are all in my prayers. Dawn (dawn_hanson@yahoo.com)

Dear Denise:

I was shocked to hear about Pit's death. Brian read it in the Toronto Star and called me immediately. We both extend our sincerest condolences to you and the whole family. We were friends for many, many years back in Windsor where we spent many great night's at Pit's pub. Please contact me if you wish, I hope you will. elayne.starr@gmail.com

Dearest Pitt
I have often thought of you and Denise and wondered how your new life was back home in Noranda. I also remember your beautiful daughter's wedding.Thank you for sharing those special times with me and my friend at the time.
I will always remember you as a kind person who liked his cigar and red wine. You will be missed by many at the Riversportsmen Club.
May God Bless you Pitt.

An Irish Blessing

(A Blessing from St. Patrick)

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Pitt May the Angels watch over you!
