I met Dad McKown when I was about four years old. What a great man!! What an incredible family!! Dad and Mom McKown have been another set of parents to me for well over 40 years now. Mom, I love you so very much and am keeping you in my prayers. Melinda, Mark, Mike, Kathy, and Judy, I love you all and am here if you need me to do ANYTHING for your mom. Melinda, you are a precious sister to me -- you are always, always in my prayers, especially now. I love you, Sis!!

I first met Jack at the Jacksonville Corps of Engineers District Office during the transition to Cape Canaveral. A strong friendship developed immediately and has strengthened through the years. Working with Jack at Canaveral, and then Huntsville, was always a pleasure. I missed Jack's presence after leaving Huntsville for Atlanta, Europe, and Mobile - work was a little less fun without HIM. Although we didn't get to Huntsville often enough in the last few years, it was always great to visit with Jack and Dot when we did manage to visit. I will miss you my friend.

Dot, we wish you the best and hope to see you soon. I have known and loved Dot since Cape Canaveral days. Dot and I were friend throughout the years. Even though, we didn't keep up with them as often as we would have liked, whenever we did get together, we picked up where we left off. Dot, our prayer is that GOD will comfort and embrace you as you face life without Jack. LOVE, Dan and Dot Mizelle

Family......
I worked with Jack at the Huntsville Division. He was a really good engineer, but more importantly he was a really good man who went out of his way to a help a young engineer, me. Sadly another member of the "Greatest Generation" is gone who contributed so much to us all. God bless you Jack.
