Your mother will be deeply missed. She has always been so good to me and my family and I appreciated her willingness to keep the ties open. She was a fine lady and the favorite if her brother, Wayne. Marge Andersen

Rich and I have been with you in thought ever since we got the news of Darlene's death last Tuesday, Our thoughts and prayers will continue as you have many decisions to consider, Words are almost at a loss for me to describe Darlene but certainly courageous is one that readily comes to mind. I consider it a blessing and a privilege that Ray brought her into our family. God's peace and much love from Rich and Alice

My deepest condolences. I met Darlene only biefly a few times many years ago, the first time in the house in McCandless just off McKnight maybe 45 years ago, and recall her warmth. If they'd never met Darlene, everyone who knew Ray knew the depth of their loving relationship and devotion to family.

Darlene was a woman endowed with high energy and excellent organizational skills, but her greatest virtue lay in her total dedication to the well-being of her husband Ray and her children Pete, Steve, Aline, Dave, and Nancy. She was so devoted to Ray's needs during his final illness that, on more than one occasion, he referred to her as "a saint." And, to her very last day, she spared no effort in her loving care for Nancy.

Rest in eternal peace, Darlene.
