I just received an e-mail regarding Mr. Freeman and his outstanding heroic deeds. What a guy! Now, there's someone to be proud of. I hadn't heard a word about his passing, only to find out it was 5 years ago. I was in awe of his bravery.

I RECIEVED AN EMAIL DETAILING CAPT. FREEMAN'S HEROIC DEEDS DURING THE VIETNAM WAR. I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I AM PROUD TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY THAT PRODUCED SUCH A COURAGEOUS MAN. MY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY, FROM THREE BRIDGES NEW JERSEY, JIM LYNCH

I received an email from a colleague about your father Edward Freeman. As I read the email detailing his (Ed's) heroic actions while under fire, I started to cry. An amazing story; one of many unsung hero's that helped and fellow warriors on the battlefields of hell.

There should be a weekly segment on CNN or MSNBC etc on the Medal of Honor Hero's beginning from the first to the present. I'm sure, this program would captivate the Americans who are passionate about their country and furthermore passionate about the men and women who defied all odds to save others while under fire from the enemy.

Unlike the media hero's, they are real thing and their family and friends should be acknowledged by all.

I'll post the email and plan to forward it to some of our local political folks.
