There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. George was extraordinary. Funny word...extraordinary. I am ordinary and have strived all my life to find something special about myself to gain those five additional letters to change me from ordinary to extraordinary. At age fifty, I realize that God has chosen certain people for that honor. George was one of them. There were no generation gaps for his music. I loved him at age 50, my mama loved him at age 73 and my daughter at age 25. We were planning to see him again in August. Even though he was extraordinary, he allowed the rest of us to see the real him... the good times and the hard times...nothing fake or phony about him. He let us in, he shared openly, he performed his heart out, and gave us a voice that will never be matched. God bless you, George, and your friends and family....for I know, if I hurt this bad knowing you are gone, they are barely hanging on. God be with you.

Nancy and family.....I am so sorry for you all, mt heart goes out to all of you....George Jones, one of the nicest men in ther World, so glad that I got to meet you-all. There will never be another country singer like George Jones, nor shall there ever be....he was God's gift to this earth. You are now singing in Heaven, we love you, we will miss you, but we will see you in heaven...one day. Martin Kushnerick Camrose Alberta Canada.

I loved your unique voice since the first song you ever recorded. There is a big, empty hole that no one else can ever fill. You were up there with Conway, Elvis and Hank, Sr. You will be so missed by so many. He Stopped Loving Her Today was one of my all time Favorites. Love you George Jones,,,Rest in peace.

Still in shock & filled with sadness at the loss of such an amazing entertainer! Not sure when my love for him & his music started but I can tell you this... I LOVE ME SOME GEORGE! I was blessed to have seen him perform at the City Auditorium in Macon, GA. 3 times & was hoping to see him in Atlanta on the 19th of April but God had other plans. So sad to said good bye. Praying for Nancy & the rest of the Jones family. May God bless you all, wrap his loving arms around you & shield you from this pain!
