To barbara and her family, bless her spirit and her families hearts. I am a MA at emerson house and have been blessed to have met and cared for barbara. She was such a unique soul and her strong and blunt attitude was inspiring. My condolences to her family. There are many things that remind me and will continue to remind me of her, and bring a smile and a tear to my eye. I will miss her dearly, it comforts my heart to know barb is with the Lord now, with no more pain and suffering. I love you, little lady. May you rest in peace

I havent seen you for years! I read about your mother in the paper. I was so sorry to read of her passing. I remember seeing her run Robie and I was quite amazed. After reading her obituary I now understand why she pronounced my name the way she did :) I always got a kick out of it. I hope you are still skiing. I remember being so jealous of you being on the ski team. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Heidi and Kirk,
We send our love and sympathy to you on the passing of your remarkable mother.
We have wonderful memories of times together when you were all in school together. Best wishes for healing and all our love.
Barbara and I met in 1958, and I was immediately smitten by how beautiful she was. And what a knockout smile! It was dazzling! That is how I will remember her, the mother of our two children, of whom we were both so proud. They brought her great joy, and she treasured her three grandchildren and great grandaughters to the very end.
Though our two lives parted, we remained friends, and I shall miss her at family gatherings and special occasions.
Anyone who knew Barbara knows what a unique human she was. She was a "oner," and the like of her will not come our way again.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
