Stewart and Debbie--My husband Denny and I met you on Friday night at the SOS meeting. We were moved by the story of Cameron's life and struggles and just want to say how sorry we are that you had to join our group of survivors. We love the idea that you are going to do everything you can to get the word out there so more families won't have to suffer what ours have...if there is ever an opportunity to help in any way please feel free to reach out to us. As we all have said at meetings- we all have a common bond now, not one we ever imagined or wanted to, but none the less it is what it is. We hope to see you both at more meetings and that through them you might hear just one tiny thing that in some way can ease the pain you feel--or help to make sense of the choices our loves ones made. Sincerely, Denny and Ally Wilcoxon

I heard about the wonderful young man Cam was from my bible study group. I'm sending prayers and God's light to you.
Cam, you knew both how to make a graceful entrance and a graceful exit. None of us were, nor every will be, ready for the latter; you will live with us.
Jerry Osborn, Seattle, WA
Deb and Stuart,
Thank you for publishing such a beautiful tribute to your son. I have had you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, and am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful young man. He has made an amazing impact in the world, in such a brief life.
Knowing the pain of losing a child myself, my heart goes out to the family of Cam. This is a journey no parent should have to endure yet we find a way to keep going and eventually find that life is still worth living. Cam sounds like an amazing young man that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I know that there was a sweet, energetic young lady there to greet him with enthusiasm and love when he passed over to the other side. His personality sounds much like that of my Tracy and she made it her mission in life to make sure everyone knew they had at least one friend. She'll make sure he finds lots of friends and is not ever alone!
I don't know where to begin. Cam was one of the best, most lovable people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Words cannot describe how much he is loved, and how much he will be missed. God bless, Cam.
Thanks for your smiles, laughter, and kindness everyday in class. The two years I had with Cam at East were unique on so many levels. He was not only a student but a teacher as well.
I am humbled and honored to have known him.
My deepest sympathy for your loss. All of us who never met Cam are poorer for not having had the opportunity. As a father, my heart aches for the parents. My prayers are with all the family members and friends. I hope we will all live intentionally, passionately, and with great love in Cam's honor.
I did not know Cameron personally, but my daughter did and she absolutely adored your precious child. She also suffers from depression and he helped her through some tough times. I will be forever great full for his words to her during those hard times she had. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful person into this world. He truly was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. He will live forever in our hearts.
Cameron was a wonderful, talented young man and he will be greatly missed. Our hearts are with you.
Even though I never met Cam, I can tell by all the kind words that he was a ray of sunshine to everyone he met....... I'm praying for your family during this difficult time......
Stu and Deb,

I didn't know Cam that well, but I did know he was the most amazing guy. We both went to east and no one didn't know cam, no one disliked him either. I am so sorry for your loss.

My dear Stu, Deb and Nate,
You all know how much we love you. You have been a big part of our lives for a long time and truly have been the best friends and neighbors we ever could have asked for. We have so many memories of Cam and knew when he was very little that he was destined for stardom. You two raised two really incredible young men with such love. They in turn have given that love to everyone they meet. Such well mannered boys they always have been. I cannot stop the tears flowing, for your pain we feel with you. We loved Cam like a son and always love sharing meals and hearing about all the funny things he did. Cam will be missed greatly. Nate is such an amazing young man and we are here for you all for always. Feel Cam's love around you forever. He knew how much he was loved....We love you all dearly.
Tina, Brian, Haley, Nicholas and Jada too.

We are so thankful for knowing your wonderful Cameron. He was such a neat kid and will be missed by so many. Gods choir just got a little louder. Love to you all.
Stu, my thoughts and prayers are with you, Deb, Nate. Take care.
Love you Cam. I am so glad I was able to meet you and share a friendship with you. Your smile and your singing always changed how I was feeling. You put light in my life during times that were dark. I will always remember when you stuck up for Nate during a hawks game. They told you they thought he was cheering "too" loud. You went straight up to him and said, "Nate, you cheer as loud as you can." After the last Hawks game you pulled out my pony tail and told me you would come to my magic show in October to see me disappear. You are sarcastic and always seemed to shock me. I never knew what you would say or do next. You always knew how to make me laugh. I always described you to others as the boy with the glasses missing lenses. The cute boy with the pretty voice. I remember watching you sing and thinking you were exactly what every girl should fall for. You are the whole package. I miss you Cam, and I am sad you are gone but happy that you no longer have to live in pain. You will forever have a place in my heart. #livewilder <3 Live on sweet boy, live on in our hearts forever.
Our son was part of the choir program at East Junior High, and had such respect for Cam -- especially the positive and encouraging way he dealt with everyone around him. Even though he went off to a different high school, it was extremely difficult to hear news of his passing. What an impact this talented young man had on the people who knew him! He was a gift to the world. We hope it is some small comfort to know how much his spirit meant to so many, and that his imprint will last forever.
Dear Deb, Stu, and Nate,
My heart aches for you all. What a special gift you shared with us in your Cameron. You are in my prayers. Connie Sturdavant
I have a 17 year old daughter at Timberline High School. Holding her while she cried on Monday told me just how deep and wide Cam's net was cast. My heart is sad for you, the parents of this beautiful soul, his family, and friends who loved him. Prayers being lifted.
Cam I want to say thank you for all the laughs from fall ball where I couldn't help but laugh from your comments and it didn't stop even when I would umpire I would end up laughing under my mask at home plate. I am deeply saddened for your troubles, and a bright light was taken from us and the world is a bit dimmer, you left us too early. RIP.
This is a beautiful obituary. We are all better people for having known Cam. You are all loved so much.
Deb, Stuart and Nate,

Dear Stewart, Deb, and Nate, In the days, weeks and months that follow, I pray that the pain and shock you feel is eased and the burden you bear is lessened by God's infinite love expressed by those immediate and around you. The sorrow felt for you is a mere fraction expressed here and if there were a way to lift this off you, all of us would. I know that God can and will carry you through this time that you might have peace again and may you never feel alone. My deepest sympathies.
Stephen Jenkins, Lima, Ohio
