My condolences to Jack, Dena and your families. Soapy was so kind to my mother for years prior to her death. I will be forever grateful. What more could any of us hope for than a life well-lived and wonderful memories for those left behind for a time? May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Our days in the 445th Fighter Interceptor Squadron will never be forgotten.
Thanks for always havin a smile on your face Soapy, thats what i remember most!!!...My prayers to all the friends and family.
Soapy was one of the most positive influences in my life. He was more than a baseball coach to me and many young men, he was a life coach. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Thanks Soapy.

Jack, I always remember his big hugs and happy face as a kid. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Jack & Patti,
Sitting next to Soapy during Rotary was always a well-spent hour, listening to stories full of fun adventure and real-life lessons. I'll miss his hugs and kisses on my cheek. He made me feel welcome to the club from day one. I was always happy to walk into Rotary and see an empty chair next to Soapy and claim it as mine.
