Linda, this message is directly for your spirit. Thank you for welcoming me to Lomas in Dec 2009 and setting me. up with my first workout. You often spoke of your husband, the love of your life. May your peace that now surrounds you be felt by your loved ones left behind. Thank you, Linda, for your gifts of who you were. You are missed ever so much.
I was shocked and saddened when I heard of Linda's passing. Not only was she my trainer for ten years, she was my friend.
I miss her. My heart goes out to John and their families.
We were saddened to hear of Linda's sudden passing. She had a pleasant grace about her. We will miss seeing her in and around the fitness center. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her loved ones.
Though I never 'worked' with Linda, I saw her smiling face at the Lomas Santa Fe CC fitness center multiple times every week for the last three years. Her presence was comforting; she was always quick with an approving smile or word of encouragement. I greatly miss her, but take comfort knowing that she is in a better place. Rest in peace, Linda.
Felt a real bond with Linda because of our heart issues. A real blessing that she didn't suffer, but a terrible emotional blow for her family. Her welcoming presence will be missed.
I miss Linda every day and it is so unreal that we won't see her at Lomas, always smiling and friendly, helpful to all.She brought happiness to many people and I am guessing she is teaching a class in heaven and bouncing around on the clouds, smiling at us all.
We are deeply saddened to know that Linda is no longer with us. Our hearts go out to John in particular but also to her nieces and nephews of whom she was so proud and spoke of often when she trained me (Kirsty). Her siblings and parents are also in our thoughts. I had the great privilege of working out with her for one hour on Wednesday the day before she was hospitalized one last time. She was very open that evening sharing her love of life and talking about her extended family and upcoming activities. We will miss Linda greatly. She was a very lovely, happy and insightful person. We always looked forward to seeing her.
Sending my thoughts and prayers to Linda's family and friends.
Linda was truly the cornerstone of our Fitness Center. She was a hard worker who shared her dedication and enthusiasm with everyone. Her sudden passing is a painful reminder of how fragile our lives really are - no matter how hard we work at better fitness and health.
We are going to miss Linda greatly-she never failed to give us a smile and a quick 'hello' or 'what's new?' anytime we used the gym or saw her at Lomas. It won't be the same place without her! She was a regular part of our lives and so many others. We're glad to have been a part of hers-she will live on in our memories. Rest in peace Linda.
My condolences to the Jefferies Family.
Linda allowed me to train at LSFECC and change people's lives. I appreciate her so much. I am forever grateful.
Blessings and Best Regards,
holistic fitness trainer
Linda was a very strong woman and she was always at work at the club, I think we shall always feel her presence at the gym, she will be greatly missed, I think maybe God needed her at the GYM in heaven, may her family remember good times with her...Yvonne & Craig
I worked with Linda for 2 yrs at LSF country club, and I keep thinking I see her there, out by the pool, or on the stairs. People in my classes mention they can hear her voice, as she spoke to them in class. She sent me a text, her last Wed, about being so weak she couldn't even do a bridge. A back bridge? Always a trainer... I told her to take a break and heal.... This was the life she loved, and she is missed by so many....
I am so saddened to hear of Linda's passing. Linda was my supervisor at the Lomas Santa Fe CC and I will miss working with her. Much love to you and your family as you grieve the loss of your dear one. My deepest sympathies.
Linda was my co-worker for the past 8 plus yrs. We shared an office space, a computer and much more. We discussed our likes, adventures, our hopes and dreams. She loved her family and was so proud of her nieces and nephews. I felt as if I knew Jacob as she talked of him so much, and one of our last conversations was hearing exciting news about Dalton. Every month I would be anxious for her to change her calendar as I knew there would be pictures and stories of "her girls". She was an inspirtation, a special friend and she touched my life in many ways. I loved her and miss her so. My sympathies to her John and the entire family.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Linda's family, friends, and acquaintances. She touched so many with her love, passion, and sense of humor. She will be missed by us all. A special prayer for John, Linda's wonderful husband. She loved him so. Her other favorite people in her life were her special neices and nephews. She often talked of Jake, Big D, Savanna, and Siddie. Thank you Linda for everything you did to enrich all our lives. Your place in our hearts will always be a lovely place of peace and love. Thank you for your friendship. You will always be missed.
May the loving memories of you comfort each of us who knew and loved you Linda. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship. I miss you Q of F..your devotion to your husband, family and friends will remain a constant reminder in my heart..I love you!
