Dad - I am saddened by your passing, but this loss does in no way diminish my love and respect for you. Shortly after your passing I could feel your presence and I know that you will be with us forever. While your physical body is gone, your legacy lives on in your sons. You taught us how to live our lives with dignity and grace. Anyone that knows one of your 5 sons can see this legacy within them. Thanks for fixing the flat tires on my bike, but more importantly for showing me how to fix them myself! Your love and support taught me how to swim, water ski, snow ski, play basketball, bowl, play the piano and the accordion (not sure I should thank you for this one!), fish, hunt, hike, camp and ride a bike. The most important lessons you taught me I learned by watching you - how to be a good and honest man, a great father, a loving husband.
I'm happy that the doctor appointments and treatments are done, you hated them so. In the end you were not in pain, and slipped gracefully into Gods loving arms.
Rest in peace my father.
Your son - Michael
