I started with the Pocatello Fire Dept. in 1982, so I worked with Arlow until his retirement. I was his rookie for several years and I sure appreciated his knowledge in firefighting. I am sure that his decisions on the fireground kept me safe many times. He was also a fun guy to be around and I can't think of a time that I didn't look forward to going to work with Arlow as my captain. I can only hope that the guys that worked for me, respect me as much as I did him. Brett Hunt
