Dave,
You were always such a light in my life. I am blessed to have had your friendship. You were a friend and mentor to me during college and afterwards. I will always remember that letter of recommendation you wrote for me that landed me my first job after college. One of my favorite memories of all of us (the old crew) is that first year we opened the firework stand. What chaotic fun!!! I am sad that you are gone but once again, you brought many of us back together again. I will love and remember you always.

I'm saddened to hear of your passing, I wish I had known so I could have been at your memorial service. You shaped my career in the CJA field, and I think of you and my years at BSU often. You will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I am deeply saddened by the news of your passing. You were one of the best professors I had at Boise State.

I shared the same passion in understanding "school violence". Over 20 years older than he,I learned enormously, in his class and thesis guidance.
