Though thousands of miles away across the Atlantic Ocean I cannot help but feel a link with Joshua through our surname. I have no doubt Irish blood flowed through your gallant body. Deepest sympathy to the Brennan family and may Joshua sit at Gods right hand.

The week of November 5th through Nov. 8th my class is going to have an "honor Joshua Brennan" week in rememberance him and Veteran's Day. We talked about Joshua today (11-1) and hope to send you cards and letters about what we learned and student's feeling who are 9 and 10 years old. I hope this has your blessing. lana.andrews@vale.k12.or.us

5 years have passed and we wish our sons were still here. Josh and Hugo filled our lives with joy as children, they grew and brought us pride. Our hearts were broken that day and the emotions we feel today seem hard to explain. Sad because they are not with us but glad they are in Heaven. As humans we are selfish and wish they were here. Today, we are thinking of them with tender love, and pride for they gave their all for their brothers in arms, and all of us. To the Brennan family, to Janice, we send our love and friendship with a felt hug to say "we are with you".

To the Brennan Family--
My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Joshua and his story are always with me and have moved and motivated me to serve our country. He is my personal hero and I think of him everyday. Rest in peace, Josh, I thank you for the sacrifice you have made.

I never got the honor to meet Josh but once I read his story I was deeply moved. May he rest in peace and be in God's hands, a true hero who seemed like a great man
