My husband and I were in the audience in September 2012 when Justin graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate from the Infantry Officer Leaders Course at Ft. Benning. He seemed to be a natural leader, and according to our son, well-deserving of the top spot. After reading other entries, I can see that this was just one of many accomplishments in his too-short life, not the least of which was the wonderful and positive effect he had on fellow soldiers, friends and family.

God Bless You, Justin, we pray that you are safe in His arms, and that your family, especially your parents, find comfort in their memories of you, and hope that one day you will be reunited with them.

Just a fellow American realizing the freedoms I have due in part of men like Justin a solider turned hero in my eyes of a man I never knew personally but a fellow American brother who fought for my cause as well of fighting and preserving this great nation freedoms that we all have today. Your one of many hero's in my eyes that I want to acknowledge and thank you for being such am important part of mine as well as everyone else in this nation for the freedoms and liberties we take for granted every day. He not only believed in persevering them, he fought for them! Hats off to you my friend!
Rest assure one day we all will be celebrating eternal life with those loved ones we miss today. Something to look forward to. Stay strong and be filled with the happy memories you were blessed to have had created with him while he was alive. There will be an eternity of many more awaiting you. Now smile as he would want you to be doing. Eternity awaits us as well as Gods promise of being reunited with family and friends once again. May God bless you and comfort you during this time.
