Kenneth Robert "Bob" Biehl
1942-2013
Kenneth Robert "Bob" Biehl passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 30, 2013. He was born September 15, 1942 to Kenneth and Pearl Biehl in Pittsburgh, PA. Bob lived in Pennsylvania until graduating from Knoch High School in 1960.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May of 1961, and served honorably as a diesel engine operator aboard the U.S.S. Pawcatuck in Cuba during the missile crisis. He was also deployed to Vietnam, and was honorably discharged July 1966.
In 1968, Bob moved to Idaho to attend heavy equipment school, and made Idaho his home. He drove truck for Willis Shaw for 32 years until 2005. He finished his career at Ada County Weed and Pest.
Bob met the love of his life, Kathy J. Pfaff in 1983. They were married in May, 1984.
All who knew Bob know how much he loved to do all things outdoors. Whether bird hunting with his Britney's, deer and elk hunting with his family, fishing, camping, or just out raising cattle with Katelyn's help, Bob's favorite place was outside. He was an avid BSU football fan, and loved watching hockey, and his home-town team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bob is survived by his mother Pearl Parnell, Brother Kent fox, Cousins Gerald and Carol Neubert and Dan and Dennis Maloney, Wife Kathy Biehl, and sons Clay Freinwald with fiancée Teresa, and Thomas D. Freinwald. His grandchildren are Kiah Babcock, Katelyn Freinwald, James Chapman, Greg Chapman, Sean Morrison, Brittany Hilton, and Derek Wetzler. Shorty and patches, his dogs also deserve mention here, they never left his side, and perhaps will miss him most of all. Bob was known by as "Papa" by many people throughout the years, and many will miss him.

A committal service will be held at 1:00 pm, August 5th, 2013 at The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Road Boise, Idaho. Condolences maybe left for the family at www.bowmanfuneral.com

Bob, I don't know how you did it but you always seemed to keep up with Kathy. You were always spoken of so highly and I know you will be missed. Thanks for being a good man - there do not seem to be enough of those to go around. Keep the stars twinkling for all of us.
