Albert LeMessurier Obituary

Albert Marcus
LeMessurier
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Marcus LeMessurier. Marc passed away suddenly at the age of 66. He was born Oct. 6, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pa. but grew up in Orchard Park, N.Y. where he graduated from Orchard Park Central High in 1966. Marc also attended Hobart College in Geneva, NY where he received his Bachelor's degree. He had resided in Canal Fulton, OH for the last 35 years. Marc worked for Troy Chemical for close to 40 years as a Regional Sales Manager. After a successful career Marc retired in 2012. During his retirement he enjoyed traveling, visiting his children and grandchildren along with spending time at his beloved family cottage on Tully Lake in upstate New York. While his favorite love was spending time with family and friends, he was also a devout fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Additionally, growing up he was a proud Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Marc was a loving father, grandfather, and a friend to all. He will be sadly missed by many.
Marc is survived by his former wife, Sheryl (Landon) LeMessurier, two sons, Craig LeMessurier, Geoff (Micah) LeMessurier; daughter, Robyn LeMessurier; grandchildren, Jai, Gavin and Riley LeMessurier; brothers, Buck (Anne) LeMessurier, Jim (Linda) LeMessurier; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were his father and mother, John Seely LeMessurier and Jeanne (Taylor) LeMessurier.
A celebration of Marc's life will be held in Tully New York this coming summer. The family requests memorial contributions be made in his name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at cff.org.

We're very shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Marc's passing. Marc 'The Measure' always put smiles on our faces, livened our day, left us with stories and made us happy of our times together. Marc already is and will always be missed by our family.

We were saddened to hear of Mark's death. We remember the LeMessurier family when they attended CFUMC in the 1980's. May God lay his healing hands on his family and friends who will truly miss him.
