Jody was an amazing nurse who inspired, mentored, and taught countless people the art of Labor and Delivery care. Her ability to recognize changes in a patients status, then teach that...yes, she was an outstanding nurse. This is only one aspect of the talent Jody held. Her years at CMC will be remembered by MD's and RN's lucky enough to have worked with her. She had so much love in her heart. You knew you needed to listen to her if she came to you with a concern. Many mothers know the joy Jody added to their delivery experience. She loved healthcare. It is an honor to say I worked with Jody. She will be missed. 8E family , we were the greatest and Jody was a big part of that greatness. Please know you are loved Jody.

I am so grateful to have known Jody and to have worked with her in the ED in Charlotte. She was a wonderful nurse, full of compassion for others. I am praying for her family at this sad, sad time. I know that she is in Heaven, but I also know that lots of people are missing her right now. So, although I am certain that she is no longer suffering, I am praying that the grief that her loved ones are feeling will be replaced with the peace that only God can give and that she would want all of you to feel. I love you Jody.

Dear Lee Ann, Aunt Elsie and Bill, Oh how sorry we are to hear of Jody's passing but bless her she is not hurting now. I know her Aunt Ethel Baucom and Uncle Johnny Via Baucom are taking good care of her in Heaven now. We still mourn and grieve for Momma and Daddy but we will see them again in Heaven.
