I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing Brenda. It saddens my heart since I know what you are going through. I wished I could have had Dwayne longer myself. 52 is just to young pass, but then I think of the children that pass so young and thank the good Lord for the time we had. I hope you can enjoy the memories you and Bill had before this horrid disease took Bill's memory. Please know that you are in my heart, my prayers and my thoughts as you walk this journey. Love you much my friend. I pray that God gives you the strength to get through the holidays and all the days after May you be blessed my friend.

I am sending this note of sympathy as I was sad to read in the paper today of Billy's passing. I (as well as other friends) (some of which I will mention later) knew Billy back in the 1960's when he lived on Delaware St. in Indpls.,In. Maybe you, Brenda remember Billy talking some about those days? Some of us always went to The Canteen every Friday night. (The church dance that was there on the corner of 16th St. and Delaware. I went to Shortridge High School with Jack Whitlow and remember he and Billy ran around together. I will always remember what a nice guy Billy was and his nice smile. Some of us old friends still talk and see each other from time to time. Some of those friends are: Jim (Sonny) Bleier, Bob Hampshire, Nick Doney, Barbara (Goff) Hagy,(who lived next door to Billy) Barbara (Crabtree) Jobe and myself, Susan (Lemmon) Mitchell. (I graduated from Shortridge in 1964) We have lost some of the old crowd and sure miss them but all of us will always 'cherish' those good times and memories. I often wondered what happened to Billy and seems like we tried to contact him when we had a few of the old crowd get together's. We would have truly enjoyed having him and you, Brenda come and visit for a short time. I (as well as the others) wanted to express our love, prayers and sympathy to you, Brenda and your family. Our prayer for Billy is that 'God' may grant him peace and eternal rest. He was a pleasure to know! He is truly gone too soon but will never be forgotten. Love and prayers, Susan (Lemmon) Mitchell

You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. I loved hearing about Bill through Travis. We are so grateful for his service and know he has a wonderful family that misses and loves him very much!
