I loved Mr Sausser but I hated history. Mr Sausser made history as interesting as possible, and I actually still remember some of it because of his skill of helping us remember. He was a great teacher.

What a wonderful pleasure it has been to live next door to such a great guy as you, Dave. We will miss seeing your sweet smile over the hedge and our chats at the mailbox. You will be missed and may you rest in Peace. Rick and Sandy Spence

History was one of my favorite subjects all through school but when I was in Mr Sausser's class He gave it a whole different perspective. He challenged me to dig deeper into the subject looking for information you couldn't get from the mainstream history books with there short overviews. I was lucky enough to be his 6th period assistant in 1973, my Sr. year. Mr. Sausser made going to class fun. Thank you Mr. Sausser. You will be missed by many. You shaped a lot of lives and your legacy will live on. My condolences to your family and many friends.

Dave Sausser (or Mr. Sausser as I knew him) was always gracious and welcoming when I was at the Sausser home to visit with Mark during and after high school. I always appreciated his observations on history, his personal experiences and life in general. I know he was great role model for Mark and other family and friends. He will certainly be greatly missed by all.
