I will truly miss my mother-in-law's warm smile and great cooking! She will truely be missed by all of us. She was happist in her kitchen cooking up great meals or growing all sorts of plants and flowers, some that I heard of and some that I haven't. She truely had a green thumb.

My grandmother (Annamae Schafer) as were all members of our family were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your mother. We want to extend our most heartfelt sympathies to your family. Our family grew up being told stories and adventures her and my grandmother had together in the country. My grandmother loved Esther dearly and always spoke of what an extraordinary sister she was, who carried a ray of sunshine with her everywhere she went. I only met your mother once but could tell what a warm and caring woman she was, and we are all diminished without her. Esther touched so many lives without even being aware. My entire family knew Esther whether they had met her or not through the stories my grandmother would tell. I know this is a difficult time for you and your family, but I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Your mother was an exceptional woman and she will always be remembered by my family. Love, Trish Dotson Granddaughter of Annamaea Schafer, Great Niece of Esther Boston
