While recently attending my cousins funeral in Jasper, IN I learned of Bens death. I was shocked and saddened. The days of hanging out at the hotel and drugstore will always be a treasured memory. So much fun! I am so thankful we had connected thru emails over the past couple of years. He had sent me pictures of his beautiful daughters---so proud of them. My heart goes out to you Lisa, Emily, Stephanie, Kim and Bobbi. He just brought such joy. You have my very deepest sympathy and prayers.

Just two weeks ago, Ben told me something about my father Charlie that I had never heard and will treasure the rest of my life. It is so sad that the fact is we are not guaranteed a day on this earth and not always thankful for the things around us until they are gone.
My deepest sympathies go out to the family.
I met Ben 43 years ago while attending Hoosier Boys State. We became almost instant friends and enjoyed a long distant friendship...he attending Purdue and me at IU. It was not until my mothers passing that Ben reached out to me, again showing a long lost friendship. I am so sorry to lose him, from my perspective, Ben was Ben, a true to his feelings man. Despite many years between our meetings, his warm hearted feelings, his desire to have a good life and family, and his honest personality were still very apparent. I am so sorry to learn of Ben's passing. I believe in my heart, he is in good place with the satisfaction of knowing his dreams did come true.

I was stunned and saddened to hear about your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Ben soon after Vector moved into the Stutz. We worked on a few projects and I really enjoyed our morning coffees and discussing business strategy and concepts...as well as who could hit the longest ball on the course. I am very sorry I hadn't seen him recently. Ben was a good friend and listener, and I will miss those get togethers. I will say many prayers for him, Lisa, Stephanie and Emily, over the next several days. Take care and I hope God shrouds you and comforts you on your loss.

We always considered Ben, Lisa, Emily, and Stephanie as part of our extended family once or twice removed. When we heard of Ben's passing we were stunned by how a precious life can be taken from us. We just kept saying that this is so wrong, we were all supposed to grow old together. Now we have to draw on fond memories of weddings, holidays, parties, golf outings to keep Ben with us. We all feel Ben's loss and sincerely empathize with Ben's lovely family Lisa, Emily, and Stephanie; Ben's brothers Kim, Richard, sister Roberta during this time of mourning. Via con Dios dear Ben. Ben, you made a mechanical business owner out of a dumb plumber, in my eyes you could do anything. You were a great friend and mentor. I learned many things from you about business, family, and of course golf. I will miss calling you for advice on all things and miss your stories, especially the authors of the "Thinnest Books in the World" series. .
