You and Fred had a wonderful, albeit short, life together these past few years and Gary and I have had the opportunity to share those years with you. Fred was a great man that we both admired. You gave your entire life, being and soul to Fred; your love is all-encompassing! When you love, YOU LOVE!!!! May God Be With You Until We Meet Again!

Dear Sheila,David and Family,
Please accept my families sincere condolances for your loss. Your husband and father was a long time friend and military comrade and an outstanding member of the 434th TFW. I shall surely miss our periotic meetings and will remember the many years of our association. You can surely be proud of his service to his country and his devotion to his family.

Parting with the one you loved and took care of so diligently is very sorrowful. You need to remember the joy and love of life that you brought into Fred's senior years to help you through this difficult time.

I am sorry for your loss. One of my fondest memories of your dad was when he would lead singing at church with such spirit!

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.
