Just ran across news of your father's passing and wanted to extend belated condolences...remember him as a very impressive man from our days at MHS!
Jan and Barb, I just found out through the grapevine that your dad had passed away. My folks loved Jack and Wilma dearly, and were heartbroken when they moved away. Jack and my dad possessed something that is hard to find today, that being integrity, and your mom was such a sweetheart. Now, Jack, Wilma, and Dad are all together in Heaven, waiting for the day when Mom joins them. Again, sorry that I did not learn of this sooner, and sorry for your loss. Best wishes, always.
My condolences in your loss. Jack was my boss at Gary National Bank in the bookkeeping department when Dick and I got married in 1948. He was a really great boss...fair and a great example to everyone. Your Mom and my sister/cousin Dorothea (Murray) Coover were a group of the "Home-front Gals" from the Bank , and I know you have great memories who got together while their "men" were serving their coultry.
You were lucky to have him. I know you must have many good memories.
Jan, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. What a great man!!! I hope your wonderful memories of him give you comfort at this difficult time.
Thank You Sir for your extraordinary deeds defending our Country.

I was hired by Jack in 1967 at Gary National Bank. I will always be grateful for the opportunity he gave me. He was an inspiration to me. I played many golf matches and raquetball games with him. He was a real competitor and hated to lose. May he rest in peace.
