I always thought of your parents as Bonnie and Ted as if it was one word. My heart goes out to you all as you face the loss of your father who was a great doctor and a wonderful man. I am thinking that Bonnie and Ted are together again now for all time. Love also to the Gutchess family who I'm sure are also deeply feeling the loss. I speak for Ann and John and our mom Trish when I tell you that you all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I consider it a great privilege to have had the pleasure to know Ted, through our interactions in the Radiology Department at Methodist Hospital. He always came with a smile and good humor. His reputation as a neurosurgeon was unrivaled! However, as we consulted, I learned much more. His wisdom, compassion, and commitment to the quality of his patient's care were also unrivaled.
Ted was one of a handful of true gentlemen I have had the gift of knowing and he is missed!
Condolences and blessings to all his family and friends.

I'm writing this note for my uncle, Jack Simmons. They were members of the Antelope Club together for many years. He spoke about Dr. Luros with the greatest respect. He would tell us what a gentleman Dr. Luros was and admired him greatly. If Uncle Jack were here he would be missing his old friend.

I met Dr. Luros in the Pediatric unit at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis - 1950's. He related to the children with neurological problems and kept the parents informed. His ability to do thorough physical exams resulting in his wisdom and skill to provide proper treatments. It was my privilege to know him!!

Dr. Luros performed lifesaving surgery on my dad. We absolutely thought the world of him and will always be grateful of his meticulous work. My dad had complications from a car accident. Some years later he was hospitalized at St. Vincents and suffered a massive stroke while there. I immediately had him transferred to Methodist to be under the care of Dr. Luros. This was because I had total confidence that he would provide him the best of care. My dad passed away in 1995, but I will always be grateful to Dr. Luros for saving him after the car wreck and giving us more time with him. He was so patient and kind to us. God bless you all, the family! May Dr. Luros rest eternally in heaven.....he is remembered!
