Harry was a dear man. There was strength in his gentleness, smile, and friendship. It was a pure joy to be with Ruth and Harry! We had good times together with them. You will be remembered dearly Harry.

Ruth, We were sad to hear of Harry's passing but we had to smile about all of our memories. You and Harry were such good neighbors to us when we moved onto Hogan Drive in 1976. We loved your home and your yard and especially the joy the 2 of you showed as a couple. To this day, we think of you and Harry saying "We had a ball". Seems like you two had ball most of the time as you had the secret to living life well. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Diana & Mike Poore

I was a Greensburg high school cheerleader when Mr, Ritter was the coach there. I can tell you that he made quite an impression on the girls. He was such a gentleman and sharp dresser. We all thought he was as handsome as a movie star. I still think of him in this way and was saddened to learn of his passing. I know he touched the lives of so many people in so many positive ways through the years. Mr. Ritter is one of those individuals that leaves the world a better place because he was in it. His loss is bitter sweet, Patty Farthing

Coach Ritter was my high school basketball and cross country coach (late 50's) in Greensburg, IN. He had a very positive and encouraging style. He had high standards for his players and especially appreciated guys who hustled. Even though, I did not like to run, he saw in me the potential to do well in cross country. It was because of his coaching that I ended up setting a cross country school record that was not broken for 20 some years. I look back with pride and fondness to those years that Mr. Ritter was my coach. He has left all who knew him with special memories, Bruce Farthing, GHS 1959
