Mary Beth & Family: May the memories of a life well lived your loved one sustain all of you, in the days ahead during this difficult time of loss.
April 22, 2014
Dear Mrs. Arenz, Mary Beth, and John,
My sympathy to you. I am grateful that my sister Rose Mader sent me the obituary of Mr. Arenz. From time to time, when we think about our growing up, I would recall your influence in my life. I would wonder how you were doing. I learned many things from you, being there with Mary Beth and John after school and during the summers, both on Farnam and out by the college. You really trained me in many ways and you were always so good to me.
What a beautiful long life you had together. I looked at you and Mr. Arenz through adolescent eyes and always admired your Saturday night square dancing dates. And later as an adult, I remembered the part you played in my life. You were very good role models. A person just never knows the influence they have over others in the busy-ness of life. I am reminded of the saying, "Whatever you can do for a child is never wasted." (Something like that) Thank you very much and God's blessings as you go on remembering your husband and father. With love and prayers, Mary Mader Palzkill
