James H. Hammer
63, Speedway, IN, died on June 14, 2014. He worked in maintenance for Methodist Hospital for 40 years. He lost a long hard fought battle. Mr. Hammer was a member of Speedway Masonic Lodge and Past Patron O.E.S. #561 Speedway, Past President of Marion County Patrons Association, Demolay Dad. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Conkle Fu neral Home Speedway Chapel , with visitation there from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Cunningham Hammer; son, John (Kris) Hammer; three brothers and one sister; seven grandchildren. While we were not related in life as far as we knew, we were neighbors in Speedway and our kids went to school together. We were very sorry to hear of his passing and send our condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was such a nice guy and I enjoyed working with him. He was always smiling even when he didn't feel well. Will be praying for peace.
