Oh, how Jim always made me smile and feel like I was worth a million. He had a way of doing that . . . . making each person feel special and important in their own right. I always respected the good man that Jim was (and will forever live in my heart as). He adored his wife and his children and was such a perfect example of a great husband and father. What wonderful memories he has left not only for myself but all of his family and friends that he has touched. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family!! Love, Pam Lohman

I'm a more recent(2004) friend of Jim's but I feel like I've known him for years! I believe his friendship was always first then his fantastic harmonica playing! It was always great to see him at SPAH or at Buckeye as well as exchanging emails. He was a true friend and never let his great harmonica playing ability get in the way of being a friend. I feel privileged to have met and known him. His legacy will be long remembered. And Holly, although we've never “officially” met, I feel like I've known you just as long. Our prayers for you and family will continue. BILL KAWAMURA

Jungle Jim: I remember the first time we met (29 yrs. ago) like it was yesterday. I was trying to impress my future father in law, who insisted that the episode of “professional” wrestling on TV was in fact “real” and “not faked.” Well, that lively conversation changed (converted) me forever, as I married your wonderful daughter, Ter and got the pleasure of knowing the rest of the “clan” (Holly, Danna, Tony, their spouses, plus all of the “grappling” Lohmans). Should the thought of forgetting Jim ever enter my mind, I am reminded of my ongoing neck spasms rendered by Jim during that first encounter and a demonstration of the “Flying Tourniquet.”
Seriously, I will remember Jim for our time spent together one summer building a barn, tinkering in his workshop to show me some new tool, his always intiguing character and his sense of humor.
Just know that we'll all meet again at that big WWF (World Wrestling Federation) “super” event in the sky. Evan “The Annihilator” Petrotti

Poppa,
You were such a larger-than-life presence in my life. Under your guidance I learned so many things, from music, to how to throw a baseball, to protecting loved ones, to how to fix and invent things. You were a one-of-a-kind man, and you touched so many people's lives in such a good way. There was never any doubt about where you stood about things. I looked up to you and you made me feel safe in your presence. You were one of the funniest people I have ever been around. I miss you and I think about you every day, as I will the rest of my life. I love you.

Valerie and I are so thankful to Jim and Holly for changing our lives, having the chance to share not just playing harmonica, but a part of Jimmy's soul in his music every weekend has been " Heaven " to me. What a wonderful friendship I've had with Jimmy and Holly you have been a dear to let me walk away with many candy bars from your house, I ate most of them before I got home. Our prayers are with You and your family.. Walter and Valerie

Dear Holly, Please know that Shirley and I will hold you and all your family in our hearts and prayers. We have cherished our friendship with Jim and you, always looking forward to the times we would be together and play, or just pass the time trading stories. We respected Jim as a man who loved his family dearly and as a musician - a fantastic Harmonica artist. We shall miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

WJL, that's what you'll always be. The man that taught me so many wonderful off color jokes that could only be told when no women were around! The man that would yell at us for running in the yard! He always made a room light up just by being there. Grandpa you were an amazing man, I love you so much and miss you terribly
