Our sympathies to your family for the loss of your Dad, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. The Bowen family always thought highly of Nelson way back to his teaching days at Sheridan. John and Daisy had great stories of their trips to Kansas City together with Nelson and Kathleen. We are so sorry we have been out of touch at this time and are praying and thinking of your family at this time. God bless.

I wish to offer my condolences to the Jay family for the loss of their loved one, James Nelson. You do not know me, however I believe that your husband/father's father grew up in Valley Mills with my dad Jim Nelson. Dad often spoke highly of Jim and told many wonderful adventures and stories of the two of them growing up in rural Indiana in the early 20th Century. The Nelson farm was located on what is now the interchange for Indiana 67 and I 465 in Valley Mills. My grandfather was Lew and grandmother Kate Nelson. Dad had two sisters Eva who taught school in Valley Mills and Luella. I hope that you have fond memories of Nelson and know you will miss him very much.
Again please accept our sympathies for your loss and enjoy your memories.
James L.Nelson
