When I first heard about your passing, I had tears in my eyes. You were one of my favorite teachers, if not my favorite. I will always remember you and will cherish the lessons you gave me not just academically, but life lessons as well...

I loved Maureen. She taught both of my children and became a very big part of our family. There are not very many teacher's still out there that take their job to heart as Maureen did. She was not just a role model but a dear, sweet friend that will be missed...goodbye my friend...i love you.

I remember all of us girls in the sorority house--what fun we had. I am so sorry to lose Rene. She will always be part of my best memories.

Gary and Family, We were so saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time. Her smiling personality shall remain in your hearts forever.

Mo was witty, funny, and compassionate. A trusted colleague, a respected mentor, and a great friend.

She encouraged me through two pregnancies and was quick to remind me that the most important job in life was mom. When my own mom died in the fall of 2010, Mo was a solid rock to lean on, even helping me make Thanksgiving dinner for my entire family. Her sweet potato casserole is the only one my husband will eat, and just thinking about her monkey bread makes my mouth water.

I will miss her sly grin from across the room, her warm hug, and her wisdom. I was blessed to have known her for ten years and sad to not know her ten more.
