I would just like to say how much I enjoyed Mr. Girk's company. He had such a good sense of humor!

We're all thinking of you as we know what you are going through - sadness, reflection and somewhat relief. What a great run he had! We were proud to have met him - he was a great guy! The Winkler Family in St.Louis

When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love we once shared,
Miss me and let me go!
For this journey that we all
Must take and each must go alone!
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me but let me go.

Kathy, Lindsay, Britt and family-
What an amazing long life your dad/grandpa had. He is so blessed to have had you all, being so loving and caring with him. Now he is with all those who went before him, and to think he now remembers everyone and everything. Sometimes what happens on earth is so hard for all of us to understand and deal with, but know that he is in God's hands, next to your Mom/grandma.

And who knows maybe my g&g and yours are laughing at stories of us as kids, at the pool, in the backyards, etc. love you all!
